my instructor never instructs the whole course is not very good it dont even have a typin g program included and i want a new teacher for sure and a new career coach. one that is available and willing to actually help o not go to this school its a rip off.

I do not know where else to send this e-mail, this was the only address I could find, I hope it reaches the right person I have not been able to log in to my account since the last payment I made in June. With the kids home for the summer, I have not had the time to do my classes online...

I have been using the copy of the book and materials I have in print... I have finished all 10 lessons, and I am trying to take my quizzes, so I can move on. Furthermore, I got the updated portal notice in June with my student number and information, so I know I'm still in the system. I have already recovered my username and password...when I try to use it...

I get the message that says this username or password doesn't match our records...

I'm in a never ending loop of recovering my account...if there is a limit to how long I can stay logged out... I was not made aware of this...I'm still making payments please help me fix this.

Just thought u should know, people take the time to read reviews. And after reading the reviews for ur school.

I am half way though the bookkeeping specialist course, here is my honest review on these few points:

1. Course work is easy to understand, but some topics are 'lazy' with no picture examples but briefly explanation only, so you have to figure it out on your own. This is a bookkeeping course involves record entries on journal, ledgers etc. If you skip to show the examples, it's hard on students and will make mistake on assignments.

2. Instructor is not helpful, not able to give a satisfied answer. Once, I asked questions, he answered me with a question, left me to figure it out.

3. Hand graded assignments are being graded very slow. I submitted the answers by email, it takes them 2 days to print out and pick up by the instructor to grade in 2 - 3 days and another 2 - 3 days for the grade/score posted on the student account. And the results (mistake made or correction) are being mailed back by regular mail and not by email. All in all, at least 2 weeks to be able to see the assignment result after the assignment is done by student. Keep in mind, they are several hand-graded assignments, all these take how long time?

4. Student Service is no help either, if you email question, it takes them fwe days to answer. Sometimes too, sent email questions to instructors, no response even a week.

5. Some questions on the assignments/quizzes are very tricky, they way of the questions do not make sense or they use the phrase is wrong. So, you will make mistake and that's very unreasonable.

I hope to finish this course soon, but their grading is so super slow.

I completed the medical claims and billing course in 4 months with a 96% GPA. I made monthly payments for my tuition during this time.

I called the school to request my certificate and was told I would not receive it until I paid the remaining balance of the tuition which is about $1,200.

There was no assistance, effort, or guidance regarding job placement. I have looked for medical billing jobs for 6 months and they all require more education than what I had received. I am very disappointed with all the time and effort spent on this course and I have nothing to gain from it. I feel the advertising for US Career Institute is very misleading.
